Babywearing Preemie Twins

I'm guest-posting over at Baby Bellies on babywearing preemie twins. You can read the post here.

(btw, Baby Bellies is a great resource if you have or have had a premature baby, or if you're just looking for ideas for feeding your kids high-quality, nutritious food. I encourage you to check out their archives - they're full of good stuff!)

Peace of Christ to you,
Jessica Snell

Wow. I didn't know that two of your kids were preemies or that they were twins! (I'm a fraternal twin and also a preemie.)

Yep! My two youngest are identical (MZ) twins - and were early because they were monoamniotic - a pretty rare complication (I certainly didn't know about it before my pregnancy with the girls!).

Was your twin a brother or a sister?

Thank you, Jessica! It was awesome to have you and your twinsies as guests! :)

I have a twin brother who is 6 minutes older and about 9 inches taller than me. He was 6 lbs 6 oz. and I was 3 lbs 12 oz. They're theorizing that I might have been conceived a month later or something. Then again, this was 33 years ago so they didn't know much about all of this.

Miriam - it was absolutely my pleasure!

Jen - wow, that's a huge weight disparity! I suppose it's too late to know what actually caused it, but I bet there's a fascinating medical explanation, lost to history. :)
