That's particularly amusing since Cosby, in his standup routine, used the same line with just a minor modification:
"My wife and I have five children, and the REASON we have five children is because we do not want SIX."
Also because - I realized as I watched this episode - later in the show they decided that the Huxtables DID have five children. They added Sondra!
