With This Ring, I Thee Wed

A few weeks ago we got to attend a wedding. The bride is a dear friend - especially of our two youngest, Anna and Lucy. The bride was their very favorite babysitter. And they got to be her flower girls.

I loved attending the wedding. It was beautiful. When our priest asked for the bride's consent (part of the Anglican wedding ceremony), she didn't even let him get through the whole thing before she declared, "I will!"

The bride and groom were joyful and eager and they both practically glowed. It was wonderful.

And I got to attend it all with Adam, the man of my heart, who I married 12 years ago, with the exact same words.

Still love him.

I still will.
