About Me

Hi! My name is Jessica Snell, and I'm a writer, an editor, and an occasional speaker. My husband and I have four children, and we live in Southern California.

On this blog, I write about books, family, and faith.

I'm the contributing editor of a couple of non-fiction books: Let Us Keep the Feast, which is about celebrating the Christian church year at home, and Not Alone, which is a collection of essays about miscarriage and infertility.

I'm also a freelance editor and proofreader; if you have a project in need of such services, please contact me at the email address below. I'd be happy to talk to you about a sample edit so you can decide if I'd be a good fit for your project.

A few other interesting tidbits:
-I'm the Altar Guild director at my local Anglican parish.
-My husband and I are missionary kids who grew up across the globe from each other: he lived in Indonesia and I lived in the sub-Arctic.
-I love science fiction and romance, and I really love it when I find them both in the same book.
-I enjoy hearing from readers, so please comment on the blog--early and often!

-If you would like to contact me, please send an email to jessica [dot] snell [at] gmail [dot] com. Thanks!
