wire crochet with beads

Take one. Isn't it pretty?

Before making gifts for unsuspecting female relatives, I decided to do a practice piece for me.

I used beads from a bracelet my sister gave me years ago that had come unstrung.

It took a few false tries at the chaining, but I caught onto a good technique fairly quickly. It's got a few flaws, but it's certainly wearable.

What do you think?

peace of Christ to you,
Jessica Snell

Very pretty! And flaws or not, I'd say that's fantastic for a first try.

It's absolutely gorgeous, and I think crocheted wire and beads are extremely flaw-forgiving. :)

These are beautiful! Great job on them. I would like to learn how to crochet with beads and wire. Knitting with wire is really hard on my hands, how is the crocheting with wire?

Lovely, Jess! It reminds me of the headband you had in college with all the pretty glass leaves and beads made of flowers.
